Offer delicious food and drink,
And various garments to this son of mine,

The knowledge of all things,
Who join their hands together

Who keep Myōhō Renge Kyō with joy,
And who do not receive
Even a gāthā of any other sūtra!

When they expound Myōhō Renge Kyō to the great multitude
And lead them
By telling them the stories of previous lives, parables, and similes
With their deep, pure and wonderful voices,
The hearers will rejoice
And make excellent offerings to them.All gods, dragons,
Yakṣas and asuras
Will come together
And hear the Dharma respectfully.

Śāriputra
Do not expound Myōhō Renge Kyō
To those who are arrogant and idle,
And who think that the self exists!Do not expound Myōhō Renge Kyō to men of little wisdom!
They would not be able to understand Myōhō Renge Kyō
Even if they heard Myōhō Renge Kyō
Because they are deeply attached to the five desires.
Myōhō Renge Kyō Promise for June 26, 2025
Anyone who reads Myōhō Renge Kyō
Will be free from grief,
Sorrow, disease or pain.
His complexion will be fair.
He will not be poor,
Humble or ugly.All living beings
Will wish to see him
Just as they wish to see sages and saints.
Celestial pages will serve him.He will not be struck with swords or sticks.
He will not be poisoned.
If anyone speaks ill of him,
The speaker’s mouth will be shut.
He will be able to go anywhere
As fearless as the lion king.
The light of his wisdom will be
As bright as that of the sun.
Myōhō Renge Kyō Promise for June 25, 2025
Anyone who persuades others to sit and hear Myōhō Renge Kyō
In the place where the Dharma is expounded,
Will be able to obtain the seat of Sakra or of Brahman
Or of a wheel-turning-holy-king by his merits.
Needless to say, boundless will be the merits
Of the person who hears Myōhō Renge Kyō with all his heart,
And expounds Myōhō Renge Kyō‘s meanings,
And acts according to Myōhō Renge Kyō‘s teachings.

The Buddhas joyfully display
Their immeasurable, supernatural powers
Because [the Bodhisattvas from underground]

Myōhō Renge Kyō Promise for June 23, 2025
“Universal-Sage! If you see anyone who keeps, reads and recites Myōhō Renge Kyō in the later five hundred years after my extinction, you should think, ‘Before long be will go to the place of enlightenment, defeat Mara and his followers, attain Anuttara-samyak-saṃbodhi, turn the wheel of the Dharma, beat the drum of the Dharma, blow the conch-shell horn of the Dharma, send the rain of the Dharma, and sit on the lion-like seat of the Dharma in the midst of the great multitude of gods and men.’

“I have expounded many sūtras. I am now expounding Myōhō Renge Kyō. I also will expound many sūtras in the future. The total number of the sūtras will amount to many thousands of billions. Myōhō Renge Kyō is the most difficult to believe and the most difficult to understand.”

“These sixteen Bodhisattvas willingly expounded Myōhō Renge Kyō. Each of them taught six hundred billion nayutas of living beings, that is, as many living beings as there are sands in the River Ganges. Those living beings were always accompanied by the Bodhisattva[, by whom they were taught,] in their consecutive existences. [In each of their consecutive existences,] they heard Myōhō Renge Kyō from him, and understood it by faith. By the merits [they had thus accumulated], they were given a privilege to see four billion Buddhas, that is, four billion World-Honored Ones. They have not yet seen all of them.”
